Parents of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy brought poufs (beanbags) to the area in front of the Government Administration building.
Police blocked their way to prevent the protesters from placing the poufs in front of the building, which led to tension at the scene. In response, the parents placed the poufs on the road and sat down there.
According to them, after police did not allow them to set up tents on site, they decided to bring poufs instead, as they plan to stay overnight.
“We all have the right to sit in a public square, we all have the right to bring in poufs and sit. The police are violating citizens’ rights. Let the Public Defender come!” the protesters stated.
