Irakli Kirtskhalia - Unelected bureaucracy is not Europe or European values for us

In recent years, they have been brazenly interfering in the internal political affairs of our country, acting outside the framework of any diplomacy or morality, and have openly and brazenly come out on the side of their already experienced, so-called opposition, - Irakli Kirtskhalia, the leader of the parliamentary majority and the chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, noted when assessing the statement of the EU Ambassador.

According to him, the society sees very well the state of the opposition, which is "a weapon in the hands of the Eurobureaucracy".

"That is why they have come out so brazenly and openly with these anti-state, anti-constitutional, insulting statements and actions," - Irakli Kirtskhalia noted.

According to the leader of the parliamentary majority, when you consider something that undermines Georgian values as a European value, this is entering a losing game.

"When they tell you that the European path is based on non-transparency, on LGBTQ+ propaganda among children, and in general when they tell you that protecting family values is anti-European; when they insult and belittle the most important thing - faith - on a daily and annual basis; when they tell you that there should not be such a strong church here and that the European path is based on a weaker church, of course, this is entering a losing game when you have relations with the Georgian people. Neither they nor their masters have been able to understand what our society really wants," Kirtskhalia explained.

Irakli Kirtskhalia also noted that "unelected bureaucracy is not Europe and European values for us."

"Our country did not get involved in the war, our country maintained peace, and they are and will constantly be worried that our country will walk with its head held high.

Unelected bureaucracy is not Europe or European values for us. For us, Europe and European values are what Europe stood for in its time. We see where Europe is today and what challenges Europe is facing today, we see this very well, the world and the European Union itself sees this very well, their own society sees this very well," - Irakli Kirtskhalia said on Imedi.
