Speaking at a press briefing, Kirtskhalia responded to questions about the opposition’s planned rally, saying that the scenario has been seen before and is already well studied by relevant institutions.

“It is tragicomic when exposed agents organize a protest on the country’s Independence Day on the main avenue of the country. This movie has been seen many times, and I assure you, tomorrow’s gathering will also end in failure,” he said.

According to him, the opposition lacks a clear agenda and is driven by external instructions.

“Their goal is known. They have no agenda of their own. They are simply trying to create local disruptions if they get the chance - whether during stage installation or elsewhere. I will tell them and their scriptwriters that we have seen this movie many times before. The relevant institutions have not only seen it but have thoroughly studied their methods,” Kirtskhalia stated.

He added that the opposition’s actions are predictable and will not succeed.

“Such absurd and contradictory statements from different actors in their so-called alliance serve only one purpose - to try to create small-scale disruptions at different locations. But they will not have the opportunity. As from the beginning, this event was doomed to fail, and I assure you it will fail tomorrow as well. Once again, we will see their powerless face and actions,” he concluded.
