Joe Wilson - The Georgian Dream regime is facilitating the illegal actions of Iran and CCP - I am grateful that President Trump is demanding behavioral change from this rogue state!

American Republican Congressman Joe Wilson is thanking US President Donald Trump for demanding behavioral change from the Georgian Dream party.

The congressman says the Georgian Dream party is facilitating the actions of Iran and China.

“The anti-American Georgian Dream regime is facilitating Iranian and CCP malfeasance while it wrongfully locks up its own people. Grateful that President Trump is demanding behavioral change from this rogue state!”, he writes on X.

For information, United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio hopes that the United States will see a change in the current trajectory in Georgia.

In particular, Rubio’s response came in response to a question from Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, which read as follows:

“The illegitimate government of the Georgian Dream, supported by the pro-Iranian regime and the Chinese Communist Party, is threatening US assets. There were rigged elections in Georgia. In light of this, they are facilitating the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to evade sanctions.

In your opinion, what should be done to address the rapid radicalization in the Republic of Georgia promoted by the Georgian Dream government?”

“You’re right. All of the things you’ve mentioned are our current concerns. They’ve taken some steps that indicate that they want to improve their relationship with the United States. We’ve outlined to them what would it take. We’ve received some positive responses.

So our hope is that we’ll see a change in the trajectory that we have in Georgia today. Of course, we understand all of the things that you’ve just laid down, they are pre-existing problems for us. They asked us what would it take to improve relationship with the United States. We’ve responded, and hopefully, we will build on that basis and maybe change not only the trajectory of our relationship with Georgia, but also their behavior,” Rubio said.
