The illegitimate Georgian Dream regime is in the process of selling out the country to the Chinese Communist Party, war criminal Putin, and Iran — against the wishes of the Georgian people and the interests of the U.S., Joe Wilson told Congress as the House passed the bill targeting Chinese and Russian influence in Georgia.

“The election was rigged in Georgia," - Wilson added.

He said that the “puppet Georgian Dream” Prime Minister last week accused US Secretary of State Marco Rubio of lying.

“The behavior of this rogue regime threatens everything President Trump has achieved in the South Caucasus and it must change,” Wilson noted.

He said that unlike the Georgian Dream, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is working with the United States and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to remove Russian influence in the region and normalize relations with NATO ally Turkey.

“The Georgian Dream’s nightmarish regime must abandon its anti-American course, release political prisoners, end politically motivated criminal prosecutions, ensure a fair electoral environment, repeal draconian laws that stifle U.S. business, and end its repression of free speech,” Wilson said.

“We must restore the strong relationship that existed between the United States and Georgia. It cannot be normalized without free and fair elections,” Wilson said.
