There was commotion at the Saturday march a short while ago.
As one of the participants of the demonstration, Anuki Chdileli, told InterpressNews, while the participants of the demonstration were leading the march, an unknown person approached them and addressed them with insulting words, including, according to her, touching her.
According to Anuki Chdileli, the incident was followed by reactions and shouts from the participants of the demonstration, after which the unknown person was taken away by the police.
"As is often the case at the Saturday march, they let provocateurs in and think that we would get involved in it. We will not make such so-called mistakes, but when a person comes in with a curse, it is not easy to be patient. This person even touched me with his hand. Then he fell down and then, as far as I know, the police took him away," said Anuki Chdileli.
"Together against violence and impunity" - this is the slogan under which citizens are holding a protest march from the Philharmonic.
The traditional Saturday march today is connected to the footage broadcast on TV Pirveli showing law enforcement officers beating citizens at the police station. The participants in the march are holding banners with the following inscriptions: "The system must be destroyed", "14 bloody years", "When the police use violence, who should we turn to?!".
