The Presidents of Georgia and Serbia, together with their spouses, met with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, Shio III.

According to the President's Administration, the meeting was held at the Georgian Patriarchate within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to Georgia.

"At the meeting, the parties discussed the historical, cultural and spiritual ties between the two Orthodox nations and emphasized the importance of further deepening bilateral friendly relations," reads the press release.
