Anton Uper, who was convicted in connection with the events that took place on October 4 near the Orbeliani Palace, will be declared internationally wanted.
Uper is one of those regarding whom a verdict was announced today. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment.
After the prosecution receives Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili’s ruling, an international search will be issued for the convicted Anton Uper.
As for Nana Sander and her statements regarding her health condition and allegations of inhumane treatment, the prosecutor of the case, Lasha Tskvitaria, stated that relevant investigative actions are currently underway in relation to this issue.
For context, in connection with the October 4 events near the Orbeliani Palace, Mariam Mekanitsishvili, Nana Sander, Abo Naveriani, and Anton Uper - who was already on the wanted list - were found guilty by the court.
The decision was made by Tbilisi City Court Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili. According to the verdict, Mariam Mekanitsishvili was fined 5,000 GEL, Nana Sander was sentenced to 7 years in prison, while Anton Uper and Abo Naveriani were sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment each.
