Tata Khvedeliani: Georgian Dream is a violent regime; everyone saw how they surrounded us - they are more numerous and there are athletes among them. Of course, we would have suffered injuries

According to MP Gakharia for Georgia Tata Khvedeliani, the physical confrontation that took place in the parliamentary plenary hall confirms that the country is under what she described as a “violent regime” of Georgian Dream.

As Khvedeliani stated in the “Resume” program on “Palitranews", tensions in Parliament escalated during Giorgi Sharashidze’s speech.

She said that as a result of the physical confrontation, several opposition MPs were injured and emergency medical services had to be called.

“This confirms the existence of a violent regime of ‘Dream’ in our country. Using their numerical superiority, they engaged in such actions. It confirms what we have been saying - that it is a violent regime. Their incompetent Prime Minister came to the Parliament of Georgia. He could not answer any questions and again tried to escape with his usual demagoguery.

During the evaluation of his report, during Giorgi Sharashidze’s speech, they started aggressive actions and shouting. This shouting continued throughout the day. Otherwise, they could not respond to any critical questions. A person who has not gone to the occupation line and chooses to remain silent about open annexation processes is a violent regime, and everyone clearly saw how they acted violently and surrounded us.

We are not part of the opposition that refuses to call things by their name. We will call violators violent, and corrupt individuals corrupt.

MPs sustained physical injuries. We also had to call an ambulance. They are more numerous, and there are athletes among them, so of course we would have sustained injuries,” said Tata Khvedeliani.
