Viktor Kipiani, Chairman of the analytical organization GeoCase, has founded a new political party called 'Georgia First.'
At the party's founding congress, Viktor Kipiani was elected as the party's chairman.
The members of the Political Council are: Vakhtang Kapanadze, Valeri Chechelashvili, Rusudan Tevzadze, Nikoloz Khatiashvili, and Giorgi Antadze.
The party's co-founders and advisers are Nikoloz Alavidze and Giorgi Tumasyan.
The Chairman of the Audit Commission is Giorgi Shalamberidze, while its members are Beka Bochorishvili, Iveri Misriashvili, and Vasil Ivanov-Chikovani.
Zurab Sharashenidze will serve as the party's Executive Secretary.
"Today marks the founding congress of the political party 'Georgia First.' However, without any exaggeration, I want to say that this was not a decision made by us. It was a decision made by the times and by the expectations that have emerged in the country. Our role has simply been to provide a formal response to those expectations.
Today is the beginning of a great journey. I hope this journey will live up to those expectations.
As for relations with other parties, we are open to communicating with everyone. We have a special approach toward the Alliance. We believe that 'Georgia First' has the natural potential to develop independently, outside the Alliance. At the same time, this does not exclude personal communication or individual contacts. Such contacts have existed, continue to exist, and will remain part of our approach," Viktor Kipiani said.
