German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, has announced that his term of office in Georgia has come to an end.

He wrote about this on X (Twitter) in Georgian and bid farewell to the citizens of Georgia.

“Our term of office in Georgia has ended. Thank you, be happy, and ‘Auf Wiedersehen’,” Fischer wrote on X.

Along with the post, he published a photo taken on Rustaveli Avenue at the April 9 Memorial, accompanied by the song “Won't Stand Down” by English musician Peter Gabriel.
