According to the President’s Administration, on July 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay an official visit to Georgia.
As stated in the information, this is the first visit of Uzbekistan’s highest-ranking leader to Georgia in history. The official welcoming ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan will take place at the Presidential Palace at 18:00.
As part of the visit, a face-to-face meeting between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili is planned at the Presidential Palace. The leaders will discuss prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation and the regional agenda.
“After the conclusion of the high-level meeting, an official ceremony of signing the guest book is planned, where the President of Uzbekistan will leave a commemorative message,” the information states.
