Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has arrived in Iran. Corresponding footage is being distributed by Iranian media. Kavelashvili was met at Tehran Airport by representatives of the Iranian authorities.

The President of Georgia will attend the funeral ceremony of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Iran.

The farewell ceremony for Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is taking place in the Musalla Prayer Hall in Tehran. Along with Khamenei, other deceased members of his family have also been laid to rest in the prayer hall. Delegations from foreign countries are also attending the ceremony, including from India, Pakistan, and China. The funeral ceremonies will continue until July 9. On July 9, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be buried in the northeastern city of Mashhad.
