We don’t really have connections with the Georgian government and we do not want to support them - we want to support the Georgian people, - Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said in response to a question from Euroscope in Brussels, ahead of the meetings of the foreign ministers of the EU member states.
According to her, the EU discussed how to act so that the Georgian people do not lose hope in Europe.
"The Black Sea Strategy, which we developed last year, is already in place. Now we are at the stage of its implementation. In this process, of course, various countries located around the Black Sea play an important role. We are currently struggling with Georgia, we don’t really have connections with the Georgian government and we do not want to support them - we want to support the Georgian people. We also had discussions on how we can best do this so that the Georgian people do not lose hope in Europe," Kalas noted.
