Tengiz Sharmanashvili on Kaja Kallas's statement: In their language, this means: "We are looking for new ways to organize a revolution in Georgia; we have not figured them out yet, but we are trying not to postpone this for the distant future"

"In their language, this means: 'We are looking for new ways to organize a revolution in Georgia. We have not figured them out yet, but we are trying not to postpone it for the distant future,'" Georgian Dream MP Tengiz Sharmanashvili said while commenting on the statement by Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

According to him, Kallas's statement shows no respect whatsoever toward the Georgian people.

"[Kaja Kallas's statement] in their language means: 'We are looking for new ways to organize a revolution in Georgia. We have not figured them out yet, but we are trying not to postpone it for the distant future.' Kaja Kallas's statement does not show any respect toward the Georgian people. How can one seriously claim that the opposition received enough votes to form the government of Georgia? They did not receive that many votes, either now or before.

Their patrons made the opposition make enormous mistakes. They prevented some of them from even participating in local elections and removed them from politics, both at the municipal council level and previously at the parliamentary level. What kind of authority can they maintain? These people were removed from all of this, and now they are crying bitter tears asking why they have no ratings - they cannot have any! Their patrons in the West made the radical opposition commit criminal mistakes," Sharmanashvili said.

Sharmanashvili also responded to a question regarding whether the OSCE/ODIHR would be invited to observe future parliamentary elections. He said that it was too early to discuss elections and that future relations with the OSCE would depend on the steps taken by the organization.

"Future relations with the OSCE will depend on the steps they take. We have not made any specific decision. The main issue is whether OSCE/ODIHR observers will be present at the 2028 elections. It is too early to discuss this, but we will maintain relations, and hopefully they will take realistic steps and there will be a fair approach. If that happens, our reciprocal steps will not be delayed and we will approach them positively.

Do not imagine that the 'deep state' is a narrow group. These are groups with enormous financial and political influence. There is nothing surprising about them pressuring various parliamentary assemblies. They have influence over parliaments. The OSCE's conclusion regarding Georgia was much less severe than even the conclusions regarding elections held in our neighboring countries - or even elections held in the United States. It was clearly stated that the elections had taken place and were valid. Now it took them two years to falsify this document. Their conclusion implies that the Georgian government is almost illegitimate. They are saying this two years later. Of course, they are under influence," Sharmanashvili said.
