The OSCE was one of the last strongholds where the influence of the so-called "Global War Party" had not extended, but it appears that it, too, has fallen, as demonstrated by what he described as its attacks against Georgia, Archil Gorduladze, Chair of the Georgian Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee, said while commenting on the OSCE resolution and Georgia's future relations with the organization.
According to Gorduladze, OSCE resolutions are worth no more than the paper on which resolutions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) are printed.
"The OSCE was one of the last strongholds where the influence of the Global War Party had not spread. However, it appears that it, too, has fallen, and we have witnessed its attacks against Georgia.
OSCE resolutions are worth exactly the same as European Parliament statements or resolutions adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe—they are worth no more than the paper they are printed on," Gorduladze said.
