Zurab Chkhaidze - Murtaz Zodelava admitted to Vivamedi with dizziness, no stroke suspected - undergoing inpatient treatment, condition satisfactory

According to the Vivamedi clinic, the health condition of Murtaz Zodelava, a politician and former Prosecutor General convicted in the October 4 case, is stable.

As Zurab Chkhaidze, the clinical director of Vivamedi, told InterpressNews, the opposition politician was admitted to the medical facility three days ago with dizziness.

According to him, Murtaz Zodelava is under the supervision of a neurologist.

“He is really receiving inpatient treatment with us. His condition is satisfactory, but I cannot say anything about his other diagnosis, because it is personal information and I do not have the right to disclose it. He was admitted with dizziness, there is no talk of a stroke. He has undergone all the necessary tests,” said Zurab Chkhaidze.

For information, Murtaz Zodelava has been sentenced to 7 years in prison in the October 4 case. He was charged under Article 19-222, Part 2, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies an attempt to seize and block objects of strategic and special importance, committed as a group.
