The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry says the EU and its member states are ready to work with the Syrian parliament to repeal the decisions taken during the Assad regime that violate the territorial integrity of Georgia and Ukraine.

The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry has issued the relevant statement.

"The EU and its member states are ready to work with the Syrian People's Assembly [parliament] and work towards common goals, including the protection of international law and the UN Charter by repealing the decisions taken during the Assad regime that recognized the violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia," reads the statement.
