You are silent during the war and occupation of your own country, applauding Russian capital and suddenly becoming the “main Russophobe” from 2022 - this is the face of radical groups and the opposition! - After the August 2008 war, we have seen for years the encouragement of tourism and Russian capital, which today's radicals, instead of protesting, greeted with applause, - Nino Tsilosani, Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, writes on social networks.
In the same context, Tsilosani notes that “since 2022, they suddenly “woke up” and, after the war in Ukraine, appeared to us as outspoken “Russophobes.”
“Today, the Prime Minister asked a completely legitimate question: “Why were they not instructed to be Russophobic when there was the most pressing reason for this, that is, after the August 2008 war, and why have they been instructed to be Russophobic now, when the victim of Russian aggression was not their formal homeland, but another, even a friendly country?”
After the August 2008 war, we saw for years the encouragement of tourism and Russian capital, which today’s radicals greeted with applause instead of protest.
Since 2022, they suddenly “woke up” and, after the war in Ukraine, appeared to us as outspoken “Russophobes.”
All the facts point to one sad reality - the tragedy of their own country means nothing to them - their "patriotism", "solidarity" and emotions are only triggered by the orders of external patrons.
Being silent about the pain of their own people and shouting at foreign instructions is neither patriotism nor sincere solidarity - it is simply unconditional service to the interests of others," says Nino Tsilosani.
