Irakli Pavlenishvili has become the head of the Governing Council of the United National Movement.

The decision to elect him as the head of the Governing Council was made at the party congress.

The Governing Council also includes Petre Tsiskarishvili, Ani Tsitlidze, Giorgi Chaladze, Lasha Parulava, Giorgi Botkoveli, Levan Bezhashvili and the imprisoned Irakli Nadiradze.

As for the former chairwoman of the party, Tina Bokuchava, as Levan Bezhashvili stated, she refused to participate in the activities of the Governing Council and remained a member of the party's political council.
