EU Delegation - On the anniversary of the sentencing of Mzia Amaglobeli, the EU calls for her immediate release

On the anniversary of Mzia Amaglobeli's sentencing, the European Union demands her immediate release. The EU Delegation to Georgia posted the relevant statement on X.

“On the anniversary of Mzia Amaglobeli's sentencing, EU condemns disproportionate and politicised verdict against her, and calls for her immediate release”, reads the statement.

The Polish Embassy in Georgia has also issued a statement on the anniversary of the sentencing of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of Netgazeti and Batumelebi.

“A year ago, the well-known Georgian journalist Mzia Amaglobeli was sentenced to two years in prison. The Polish Embassy remains concerned that this sentence is disproportionate and politicized. We express our solidarity with Mzia Amaglobeli,” reads the embassy.
