Kyiv Kiev, the West and Georgian radicals are trying to drag Tbilisi into new bloody adventures in the South Caucasus, - reads a statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which the agency disseminated in connection with the August 2008 war.

"The Russian side calls on all participants to pay special attention to the priority task of international discussions on security and stability in the South Caucasus - ensuring solid security in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and expects practical efforts to begin as soon as possible to develop and sign an agreement on the non-use of force between Tbilisi, on the one hand, and Sokhumi and Tskhinvali, on the other. The assumption of such legal obligations is a reliable guarantee of protection against a repetition of the tragic events of August 2008," - the Russian Foreign Ministry states.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, “the start of the process of delimitation and subsequent demarcation of the Georgian-South Ossetian and Georgian-Abkhazian state borders should make a real contribution to the stabilization of the situation in the border regions.”

“This task acquires particular importance against the background of the attempts of the West, the Nazi regime in Kyiv, and Georgian radical political forces to drag Tbilisi into new bloody adventures in the South Caucasus,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
