Kakha Kaladze on interview with Russian-speaking blogger - I was attending the municipality's work, then I went into a cafe to buy coffee and accidentally met this woman, she told me that she was doing a story about Tbilisi and asked me questions - I don't see a problem with that

According to the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, he does not see a problem with giving an interview to one of the Russian-speaking bloggers. He spoke about this with the media.

According to Kakha Kaladze, he met the blogger by chance a few days ago.

“I don’t know if this particular person is a blogger or a journalist. A few days ago, I was attending the municipality’s work. Then I went into one of the cafes to buy coffee. I met this woman absolutely by chance. She told me that she was doing a story about Tbilisi and asked me questions. I don’t see a problem with that. I will say again that anyone who wants to visit our country can come at any time, regardless of their origin. Whether they are Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, American or a representative of another country, everyone can come and have a nice time. They will spend money, which will benefit our economy and those people who work in the tourism sector,” said the Tbilisi Mayor.

As for the journalists’ question about why he talks to the blogger only about Georgian cuisine in the interview and not about various sights, Kakha Kaladze said, “in addition to traditional dishes, we have many sights.”

"The question was about hospitality and I answered it. Of course, in addition to traditional food, we have many attractions. That is why our country is interesting and why guests from different countries of the world are interested in it. Among them, our cuisine and Georgian wine are very popular, because it is part of our culture and customs," Kaladze said.
