Until the opposition flank is not cleansed, it will be difficult to develop in big steps, - President Mikheil Kavelashvili told journalists.

According to him, as long as this opposition exists, they are doomed to victory.

"As long as these forces are the main opposition forces, the Georgian Dream and the ruling power will be "doomed" [to win]. We are winning and "doomed" to win, as long as they are in the opposition, we will always be winners. As long as the opposition flank is not cleansed, it will be difficult to develop in big steps.

Everyone knows that 2 of our territories are occupied by the Russian Federation, they committed war crimes. Moral and legal Georgia is right with this state. What do they [the opposition] focus on? Do you know how to raise the issue? We are supposedly talking about the interests of Russia and the Russian people. No! We have our responsibility. In the August days, these guys committed heroism, we had a government then that had a responsibility before the state and the people. Based on this responsibility, they committed a reckless act, a crime before their own people. In order for these issues not to be voiced and for the people not to understand the truth, they introduce this topic, "Did Russia start the war, or did Georgia". This is a disaster! They do not want the Georgian people to know the full truth about what the then government did. [They say] that "they are insulting Georgia", "they are blaming Georgia for starting the war" and so on, so that we do not understand the details", - Kavelashvili noted.
