The Academy of Public Safety and Police has been granted the status of a higher educational institution

The Academy of Public Safety and Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been granted unconditional authorization for a period of 6 years and has obtained the status of a higher educational institution.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the authorization, the Academy has been given the right to apply to the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement for the accreditation of the bachelor’s programme – “Public Safety and Police Affairs.”

“The programme belongs to the first level of higher education – bachelor’s degree. Its aim is to prepare highly qualified personnel in the direction of public safety and the protection of law and order, detection, prevention, investigation, analysis and prevention of crime and other offences.

Upon completion of the programme, the graduate will be awarded the qualification of Bachelor of Public Safety and Police Affairs.

Along with professional educational programmes, the Police Academy will also be able to implement higher educational programmes,” the information states.
