Within the framework of the higher education reform, taking into account the restriction of student admissions to certain educational programmes in higher educational institutions founded by the state for the 2026-2027 academic year, students with suspended status are granted the right of mobility in case of refusal to restore their status.

This information is released by the Education Management Information System.

According to them, under the change, for the 2026-2027 academic year the educational programmes and the number of students for which higher educational institutions founded by the state have the right of admission have been determined.

“Accordingly, those students whose status is suspended on an educational programme for which the university has a restricted right of student admission and who are refused restoration of status for this reason are granted the right of mobility in the 2026-2027 academic year. They can continue their studies at another higher educational institution, regardless of the duration of the period of study.

To exercise the right of mobility, the student must apply with a statement to the LEPL Education Management Information System. On the basis of the statement, the Education Management Information System will ensure the student’s participation in the mobility process in accordance with the established rules and deadlines.

Registration on the mobility portal for the autumn semester of the 2026-2027 academic year will begin on 24 August and will continue until 18:00 on 8 September.
