The First Lady of Georgia, Tamar Bagrationi, participated in the VI Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in Kyiv. This information is released by the Administration of the President.
According to them, the SFLG Global Platform is an international initiative that since 2021 unites the spouses of heads of state of the world.
“Every year the platform holds high-level meetings in Kyiv in order to promote dialogue on issues of global importance. The platform works on such topics that require high-level cooperation,” the information states.
Georgia’s First Lady, Tamar Bagrationi, is also participating in this year’s sixth summit.
In her assessment, Georgia’s historical experience is a good example of the fact that the foundation of the state’s sustainability is the preservation of national values.
“Our national identity is based on seven eternal pillars - God, Homeland, Human Being, Language, Fatherland, Faith and Family. These principles, formed in the process of a centuries-long struggle, are deeply embedded in our genetic code,” Tamar Bagrationi stated.
“The First Lady named the strength of the family as one of the most important guarantees of Georgia’s historical continuity and noted that love for the Homeland and for God begins precisely from the family.
Tamar Bagrationi congratulated Ukraine and the Ukrainian people on the 35th anniversary of Independence and wished them peace, prosperity and progress,” the information states.
