Levan Machavariani: Agency opposition parties, rich NGOs and pseudo-liberal activists, you serve foreign masters beyond the borders and several ambassadors inside the country - you deservedly deserve the name “rootless”!

Agency opposition parties, rich NGOs and ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activists, you serve foreign masters beyond the borders and several ambassadors inside the country - your agenda is the permanent shaking and sabotage of Georgia, destabilisation, harm and the forcing of our citizens by fascist methods to believe your invented fairy tales, - this is written by “Georgian Dream” deputy Levan Machavariani on social media.

According to him, the agency opposition, rich NGOs and their ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activists have tried five times in recent years to organise a revolution in our country and they deservedly deserve the name “rootless.”

“In previous ‘posts’ I reminded the public in detail of the ‘fraudulent’ campaign conducted by the agency opposition, rich NGOs and their ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activists - the ‘Russian law’ - and the rallies organised by them one week after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, which aimed to force the authorities to agree to the imposition of sanctions on Russia, the sending of fighting volunteers to Ukraine with the official consent of the government, and the transfer of our armaments to Ukraine - that is, involvement in the war.

I also want to remind the public of the fraudulent campaign of these actors, as if we were torturing and killing Saakashvili. For several years they tried, with their fascist methods, to convince society that Saakashvili was dying. Of course, together with other actions, this too was happening in close coordination with their external masters, and, so that this fairy tale would be more convincing, the ambassador of the 27th member state of the European Union even staged a demarche against us.

We remember the letters they sent to Brussels, in which they demanded the sanctioning of Georgia. They were ‘begging’ Brussels to cut off all kinds of relations with Georgia. Nor have we forgotten how they were giving false testimonies on various international platforms in order to denounce our country.

The agency was conducting an aggressive campaign as if Georgia was a ‘black hole’ for the circumvention of sanctions for Russia and was trying to damage the reputation of our country. We remember the numerous thanks of the US sanctions coordinator, Mr. James O’Brien, and the EU Special Representative for Sanctions, Mr. David O’Sullivan, to our authorities for every step taken to prevent the circumvention of sanctions.

When these radicals were hindering us and deceiving society that close partnership with China was distancing us from the West, we later saw the visits of the leaders of the USA, Britain, France and Germany to China. Statements made by the leaders of these countries on the necessity of close partnership with China and the steps taken.

When these harm-doers were speaking with mockery and spite about our deepened relations with the countries of Central Asia, we saw the visits of Ursula von der Leyen, António Costa, Kaja Kallas and Marta Kos to the said region. The European Union, just as with China, in this case as well confirmed the deepening of relations that are very important for them and the taking of concrete steps.

The radicals with their dirty propaganda were trying to turn citizens against a multi-billion investment and to disrupt the entry of the largest investor into Georgia. After the dirty campaigns of ‘Russification,’ ‘Chinaisation’ and ‘Iranisation,’ the turn already came to ‘Arabisation,’ however this narrative based on lies also failed for them.

The agency opposition, rich NGOs and their ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activists have tried five times in recent years to organise a revolution in our country. They did not shy away from receiving ‘advice’ on the overthrow of the country from Ackerman and the organisation ‘Canvas.’ In the end they even received a guidebook from the ‘McCain Institute,’ in which it was written how to transfer protest into civil confrontation, which, for greater sharpness, necessarily had to be accompanied by victims. Together with their masters, they were presenting to us the burning of policemen and the Parliament, the storming of the President’s Palace as a peaceful demonstration.

When the leaders of the agency parties were claiming that the falsification of elections with electronic voting systems was impossible and the Georgian people defeated them once again in the 2024 parliamentary elections, we remember their fraudulent campaigns about 400,000 falsified votes and 100,000 confiscated ID cards.

These harm-doers for years conducted insulting campaigns against the Church and the clergy. With the dirtiest methods they tried to discredit the Patriarchate. The agency opposition parties did not support the law prohibiting LGBT propaganda, which recognises only two sexes and excludes the introduction of the LGBT agenda into schools and kindergartens. Without exception every agency party, rich NGO and their ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activist stood on the side of LGBT propaganda.

The radicals did not even refrain from generalising the behaviour of dozens of violent policemen onto up to 45,000 of our hero policemen and sticking the ‘label of abuser’ on every law-enforcement officer working in the power agencies.

We remember, in close coordination with external masters, the accusation against the authorities of poisoning citizens with camite. This fairy tale turned out to be even more absurd than the story of the torture and killing of Saakashvili, especially against the background that apart from the poisoned parrot no one was found.

Agency opposition parties, rich NGOs and ultra-left, pseudo-liberal activists, you serve foreign masters beyond the borders and several ambassadors inside the country.

Your agenda is the permanent shaking and sabotage of Georgia, destabilisation, harm and the forcing of our citizens by fascist methods to believe your invented fairy tales.

You deservedly deserve the name ‘rootless’!

And we, together with the Georgian people, every day remind you that because of so much harm and filth, you have an apology to make to the absolute majority of our society!” Machavariani writes.
