According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, preliminary estimates show that in July 2026 real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 8.0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, while the average figure for the first seven months stood at 7.9%.
As stated in the information released by Geostat, in July 2026 the following sectors made a significant contribution to growth compared to the corresponding period of the previous year: manufacturing, information and communication, financial and insurance activities, mining and quarrying, and transport and storage.
According to the same information, a downward trend was recorded in the construction sector.
