Maka Botchorishvili holds introductory meeting with German Ambassador, discusses relations between Georgia and Germany, as well as with the European Union

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia, Barbara Foss.

According to the ministry, within the framework of the meeting, relations between Georgia and Germany were discussed. The conversation also touched on relations with the European Union.

"The sides discussed the ongoing processes in Georgia and the region, emphasized security challenges and the importance of peace. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia wished the German Ambassador success in her future activities and expressed hope that she would make a positive contribution to the development of relations between the two countries," reads the press release.
