Irakli Kupradze: “Anti-Georgian Dream” is robbing the population of Georgia - every failed project is the result of incompetence and corruption

“Anti-Georgian Dream” is robbing the population of Georgia. Every failed project is the result of incompetence and corruption, General Secretary of “Lelo - Strong Georgia” Irakli Kupradze stated, responding to data that in the 8 months of 2026 a total of 41 state procurement contracts were not fulfilled in Georgia and the total value of the unfulfilled projects amounted to 3,602,617 lari.

As Kupradze noted, “all these failed projects are connected with the officials and high-ranking officials of the ‘Anti-Georgian Dream’.”

“The story of the regions is simple - ‘Anti-Georgian Dream’ is robbing the population of Georgia. All those failed projects are the result of incompetence and corruption. Not 3.6 million lari, but tens of millions of lari are being robbed every month in the form of failed projects. All these failed projects are connected with the officials and high-ranking officials of the ‘Anti-Georgian Dream’. These companies are donors of ‘Georgian Dream’ and this is how the robbery of the population of Georgia is taking place. Throughout Georgia, in various municipalities and regions, the same company that has repeatedly had unfulfilled projects and has appropriated tens of millions of lari is again given various projects and tenders to fulfil. This is yet another confirmation that only the robbery of the population of Georgia is taking place. No one believes that ‘Georgian Dream’ and its officials do not receive a share from this loot. There is no other argument why spoiled, blacklisted, robber companies can be given various tenders and why the public and people’s interest can be harmed,” Irakli Kupradze stated.

For reference, as BPN writes, according to data from the State Procurement Agency, in the 8 months of 2026 a total of 41 state procurement contracts were not fulfilled in Georgia. In the period from January to August of the current year, the total value of the unfulfilled projects amounted to 3,602,617 lari.
