Fighters of the “Georgian National Legion” are war criminals, - this was stated by former Prosecutor General of Georgia Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze in an interview with the Russian state news agency TASS.
“My attitude toward them is unambiguous. They are war criminals who will definitely be held accountable for their actions and will be tried in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation,” - this is how Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze answered a question about his attitude toward the “Georgian Legion” fighting in Ukraine.
For reference, former Prosecutor General of Georgia Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze has formed a volunteer unit named “Georgievsky” in Russia. According to Romanov-Partskhaladze, the name of the unit is connected with the Treaty of Georgievsk, “which played the greatest role in the history of the Georgian people.”
