Russia’s steps towards the gradual political integration and full annexation of Georgia’s occupied territories undermine Georgia’s sovereignty. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this in a statement.

“Russia’s steps towards the gradual political integration and full annexation of Georgia’s occupied territories are concerning and undermine Georgia’s sovereignty. We do not recognize the so-called ‘presidential elections’ held today in occupied South Ossetia,” the statement reads.
