“In just a few hours, the Prime Minister of Georgia will address the UN General Assembly,” Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia, said in the United States.

He highlighted the three areas that the Prime Minister will discuss in his address to the UN General Assembly.

“First is de-occupation, which is the country’s main security challenge. It will be emphasized that de-occupation and the restoration of the territories must be achieved only through peaceful means, using diplomacy. The importance of economic growth in this regard will also be highlighted.

The Prime Minister will also speak about economic growth, which has averaged 9.3% over the past five years and is unprecedentedly high for the region. The Prime Minister will discuss the strategic projects that should strengthen the country’s connectivity function.

He will also address the importance of international cooperation, which should be based on respect for sovereignty. This is particularly relevant for a small country such as Georgia, and therefore the Prime Minister will emphasize that we are ready to cooperate with absolutely everyone, provided that such cooperation is based on precisely this principle,” Levan Zhorzholiani said.
