Russia expects Tbilisi to assess the perspectives of relations with Russia

Russia expects Tbilisi to assess the perspectives of relations with Russia. Russian presidential spokesman Dimitri Peskov has said.

"Of course we were following-up the reports that were coming from Georgia. We prefer to wait for the first statements assessing possible prospects of development of relations between Russia and Georgia. Of course, the people of the two countries remain close to each other, but we can not say the same about the inter-state ties after the well known events," Peskov said.
