NATO will assist Georgia in the development of the Coast Guard Service and Naval Forces, - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said.

"We work with Georgia to modernize the maritime forces and strengthen coast guard," said Jens Stoltenberg.

He said that Allies will meet with two of NATO’s closest partners, Georgia and Ukraine. “They both face serious security challenges from Russia, and we will continue to give both countries practical and political support,” said Jens Stoltenberg.
