Locals of village Pokka burn down house and cars of murder suspect

Locals have burned down the house and cars of a man accused of murdering a 33-year-old man in the village of Pokka, Ninotsminda municipality.

As InterPressNews was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a house and two cars have been burned down.

The Ministry says that the security of the suspect’s family members is guaranteed and no one has been injured.

"One person has been detained in connection with yesterday's murder. Locals of the village of Pokka burned down the detainee’s house and cars of his family members. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation into the incident. The crime provides for imprisonment from three to five years,"- the Ministry reports.
