Chairman of Parliament : Reorganization of the Presidential Administration is inevitable

Chairman of Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze says that reorganization at the Presidential Administration is inevitable, but it is possible to implement the reorganization without amendments to the “Law on Civil Service”.

“There was the difference over the issue inside the team from the very beginning. I think that implementation of the reorganization is possible without amendments to the law. The number of employees is changing. There will be 60 staffs instead of 140, taking the budget into consideration. The draft bill aimed to carry out the reorganization properly, but implementation of the Presidential Administration is possible without these amendments. Those people, who deserve the status of civil servants should maintain this status at the Administration of President. The discussion will be continue. Excessive agitation broke out as usual by our opponents and the President's Administration. We welcome criticism because the correct idea is formed through this way. The reorganization must be held unconditionally. The reorganization is inevitable and the status of each employee should be determined, each of them will have a professional status, someone will be employed by the contract, "said Irakli Kobakhidze.
