Investment costs of Tbilisi TV towel and Mukhiani radio city is amount to USD 30 million, - Andria Basilaia, Head of Tbilisi Economic Service, said on Friday.

According to him, a research has been prepared on the mentioned two projects and it has been presented to the business sector today. Andria Basilaia explains that Tbilisi TV towel will be leased and not sold, as for Mukhiani radio city, this asset will be alienated.

“We are open to receive more proposals. As for the total amount, there will be GEL 20 million in case of radio city and GEL10 million – in case of the TV tower. About 250 people will be employed in the asset. In case of the TV tower, we do not consider alienation as it’s a strategic object and we will lease it. We think about 25-year lease. As for the radio town, there will be alienation –auction, where an investor will allegedly implement the project, proposed by us,” Andria Basilaia said.

He said a new restaurant will be open at a height of 70 meters on Tbilisi TV tower and a view-point will be placed on the roof of the new facility. In case of radio city, we want to create a new attractive point for the entire city and tourists,” Andria Basilaia said.
