"I and our lawyer Amiran Giguashvili met with Shalva Tadumadze. We talked about the case and possible strategies for solving the case. We also talked about our main demand – creation of an investigative group that will have the authority and qualifications to conduct relevant investigative actions. It will be composed of Georgian and foreign experts. Tadumadze promised that he will do his best to set up such a group, he will personally lead that group.

The next meeting will be held in late January. The main prosecutor's attitude and the words that I have heard today is a guarantee for me and accordingly I am ending the hunger strike", Gamsakhurdia said.
