State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili accompanied President Salome Zourabichvili, who visited Giga Otkhozoria’s family.

Giga Otkhozoria was awarded a medal for special civil responsibility and personal bravery. According to the State Minister, the Government of Georgia once again paid homage to Giga Otkhozoria and expressed respect for his family.

"On behalf of the Government of Georgia, we handed over a medal to Giga Otkhozoria’s family for special civil responsibility and personal bravery. Giga has two wonderful children and I want to wish them and Giga's entire family a happy new year.

I wish we will achieve the tasks, for which Giga and many of our compatriots have sacrificed themselves, through peace, reconciliation and unity”, Tsikhelashvili said.
