Nana Khunjua elected chairperson of prosecutorial council

Prosecutor Nana Khunjua has been elected as a chairperson of the prosecutorial council by secret ballot.

Nana Khunjua received 12 votes and was elected for a two-year term.

Members of prosecutorial council said they welcomed empowerment of women’s role in the prosecutorial activity.

Nana Khunjua’s contender was lawyer Irma Chkadua.
