Prosecutor says Mamuka Khazaradze brought a printed letter, which did not have any identification sign and could be made up by anyone

“Mamuka Khazaradze brought a printed letter, which did not have any identification sign. Any person could make it up”, - Prosecutor Archil Tkeshelashvili told journalists.

According to him, they have not yet been handed the letter and thus cannot speak about its content.

Tkeshelashvili said Mamuka Khazaradze received the letter through a mediator and not directly from Giorgi Gakharia, so there are questions about the authenticity of the letter.

The prosecutor added that the future action of the Prosecutor’s Office would be planned after they receive and read the letter.

The letter was today brought to the City Court by Mamuka Khazaradze, who was summoned there for questioning by the Prosecutor’s Office after he said in the parliament yesterday that he had received a threat letter from Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
