The cyber attack on TBC Bank had already been prevented when we received a letter from the specific addressee, - Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia told reporters in the Parliament on Friday.

Journalists were interested in the opposition MPs' accusations around “TBC Bank” case and Giorgi Gakharia’s influences as well as his participation in the election campaign in Samegrelo region.

“Everything is triggered by a political context, political motivation. This is an opposition narrative and it is acceptable. All such allegations, as well as the letter, if you remember there was such an accusation that Gakharia is forcing TBC Bank to give up shares? – It is not true.
