Both the government and the private sector bear responsibility, Acting US Ambassador Ross Wilson told reporters when commenting on the Sunday’s developments in Pankisi Gorge.

"We were closely following developments, it should be noted that it was difficult and there were some problems, of course, this region needs development and development of energy resources is important in this regard and therefore, the private sector as well as the government bears responsibility to settle this situation. It is important these problems to be solved through dialogue, based on agreement. We believe that the government has a high degree of reliability, to ensure the security of this region, " Ambassador Ross Wilson said.
