President pays official visit to Poland

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili is paying an official visit to the Republic of Poland. The President arrived in Warsaw together with the state delegation.

Accordign to the Presidnetial Adminsitration, Salome Zourabichvili will hold official meetings today. Ptiro to that, an official welcome ceremony will be held in the Polish Presidential Palace, after which, the Presidents of Georgia and Poland will hold a face-to-face and extended meetings.

According to Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Poland, Ilia Darchiashvili, Poland is one of the distinguished and strong partners of Georgia. The country actively and firmly supports Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration and, therefore, the first visit of the President of Georgia is very important for further strengthening of the dynamic relations of Georgia and Poland.

Within the framework of the two-day official visit, the President of Georgia will meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, the Marshal of the Polish Sejm and the Marshal of the Polish Senate.
