The Central Election Commission (CEC) reported, citing the preliminary results of all 31 polling stations, that “Georgian Dream” candidate Givi Modebadze has won the mayoral race with 64,58% (11 721) of votes in Chiatura municipality.

The CEC said it has counted all 58 polling stations in Chiatura.

According to the CEC, the candidates, who have obtained the votes more than one percent are : Zurab Kupatadze - 17,99% and Davit Chumpuridze - 15,26%.
