NDI survey respondents say none of the parties is close to their views, but would vote for the ruling party

According to the NDI survey respondents, none of the parties is close to their views, but the majority of them would vote for the ruling party if there were elections tomorrow.

When asked: “Which party is closest to your views?”, 37% of interviewed respondents said “none of the parties”, 21% named the Georgian Dream, 15% - named the National Movement, 6% - said “I do not know”, 6% refused to answer, European Georgia - 4%, Alliance of Patriots - 3%, other parties - 8%.

When asked: “If parliamentary elections are held tomorrow, which party would you vote for? - 27% of respondents said “I do not know”, 17% named the Georgian Dream, 15% named “none of the parties”, 12% refused to answer, 3% - European Georgia, 3% - Alliance of Patriots, 6% - other parties.

The survey results reflect data collected from March 28 to April 15, 2019, through face-to-face interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population (excluding occupied territories), including oversamples in Azeri and Armenian ethnic minority settlements. This included 2,927 completed interviews. The average margin of error was +/- 2.3 percent.
