Raul Khajimba to run for re-election in occupied Abkhazia

Raul Khajimba, so-called president of occupied Abkhazia, filed an application on July 16 to run for “elections” planned for August 25.

“I must continue what I have started,” Raul Khajimba told “RIA Novosti”. He talked about possibility of the launch of a “protest wave” in self-recognized republic.

“If you want to do it, you can create anxiety even on an empty place. There are difficulties no one denies. There are problems and they should be solved, our task is to minimize such problems, "Khajimba said.

So-called presidential elections are planned for August 25 in occupied Abkhazia.
