Parliamentary majority to discuss constitutional changes on electoral system today

The parliamentary majority will hold a session today. The session will start at 10:00 in the Georgian Dream office and will be chaired by Georgian Dream party chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili.

As Akaki Zoidze, a member of the ruling party, told reporters yesterday, the main topic of discussion will be the constitutional changes on the electoral system.

“We earlier reached a compromise and I very much hope that we will achieve the same at the majority meeting and the ruling team will support the transition to a proportional system," Zoidze said.
